Sources & further reading
Return each claim to its evidence, and each parameter to the conditions under which it was obtained.
Read in a useful order.
- Start with material compatibility [2], basic joining experience [3], and the 2025 steel-combination experiments [9].
- Then compare the appropriate material sheets [5] [7] and thermal-cycle and quench studies [10]–[14].
- For pattern formation, work through Chapters 6–10 and follow the original maker processes [64]–[78] using the same tracked face.
- Use pattern-specific accounts [17]–[29] and the actual finishing-product documentation [35]–[38] as needed.
- Read digital-tool author explanations [40]–[44] alongside an independent process record.
About this edition.
This is an edited English adaptation of the original eighteen-chapter DamaSight learning handbook, whose source review was dated October 11, 2026. All 78 source destinations are retained. The notes below describe the earlier review and its limits; they do not claim that every external page or product document was reverified for this edition.
Content and diagrams explain relationships across sources. Maker photographs and complete third-party tutorials are not reproduced. Old workshop accounts are not universal standards; a URL’s folder date is not a revision date. Some papers require access, and older forum pages or images may be unavailable. The handbook does not report physical forging validation, batch performance tests, or measured prediction error for the simulation.
